On September 1, 2026, Nestlé S.A. announced it had agreed to divest its mainstream Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements business, known as the Holistic Health portfolio, to private equity firm Yellow Wood Partners for US$1 billion. The divested business generated US$1.2 billion in sales in 2025 and predominantly operates in the United States, with a presence in other markets including Canada and China. The transaction comprises seven established brands (Nature's Bounty, Osteo Bi-Flex, Ester-C, Gard, Nuun, Puritan's Pride and Sisu) as well as Nestlé's US private-label supplements business and related manufacturing, packaging, warehousing and distribution operations. The divestiture is part of Nestlé's broader strategy to concentrate resources on premium, science-led VMS brands such as Solgar and Pure Encapsulations, while giving the mainstream business dedicated ownership under Yellow Wood. For Yellow Wood, the acquisition marks its sixth significant carveout from major global consumer companies, following prior transactions involving Bayer, Reckitt, Unilever and Haleon. Perella Weinberg Partners and Canaccord Genuity served as financial advisors to Yellow Wood. The transaction is subject to applicable regulatory approvals and is expected to close by the first half of 2027.
