Generation Mining Limited completed a $200 million bought deal public offering on September 21, 2026, issuing 312,500,000 common shares at $0.64 per share. The offering was conducted on a bought deal basis under an underwriting agreement dated September 16, 2026 with a syndicate led by BMO Capital Markets as sole bookrunner and lead underwriter. Concurrently, the company completed a $40 million private placement of 62,500,000 common shares at the same price to a subsidiary of the Canada Growth Fund, bringing combined gross proceeds to $240 million. The bought deal formed part of the final funding required to complete a fully financed construction package for Generation Mining's wholly owned Marathon Copper-Palladium Project, a large undeveloped copper-palladium deposit in Northwestern Ontario. The broader financing stack, totalling approximately $1.3 billion, included a $140 million equity commitment from the Canada Growth Fund and debt financing from the Canada Infrastructure Bank. Net proceeds are intended to fund the development, construction and operation of the Marathon Project, along with associated general, administrative and financing costs. The company expected to begin early works construction in the fourth quarter of 2026, advancing the project toward becoming a significant Canadian producer of copper and palladium. The offering closed following receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals, including approval of the Toronto Stock Exchange.
