ECAM Technologies acquires Pro-Vigil Surveillance Services

ECAM Technologies, a North American video surveillance and remote monitoring provider owned by Montreal-based Garda World Security Corporation ("GardaWorld"), acquired Pro-Vigil Surveillance Services, a Texas-based remote video monitoring and crime-deterrence company with close to 900 employees. Langlois Lawyers, a Quebec law firm, announced on September 14, 2026 that it had advised ECAM as one of its legal advisors on the transaction, with the Langlois Mergers and Acquisitions team handling acquisition strategy, transaction documentation, and the deal's organizational and tax structuring. A GardaWorld press release dated September 10, 2026, issued in connection with the GSX 2026 security trade show, separately confirmed that Pro-Vigil recently joined forces with ECAM, indicating the transaction had already closed by that date. Pro-Vigil was previously backed by The Riverside Company, a private equity firm, though this record makes no assumption that Riverside remained Pro-Vigil's owner at the time of this sale, since that fact was not confirmed for this specific transaction.
