On April 5, 2023, Montreal-based engineering firm Bouthillette Parizeau (BPA) announced its acquisition of Ottawa-based Cleland Jardine Engineering Ltd., a structural engineering consultancy. The acquisition incorporates Cleland Jardine's 65 staff into BPA, expanding BPA's footprint in the Ottawa region and enhancing its stance in Ontario. This move is aimed at establishing BPA's services across all Canadian provinces. Dominic Latour, BPA's CEO, emphasized that this transaction amplifies BPA's leadership in building engineering and augments their structural engineering and building science services. The partnership is in line with BPA's strategy to grow its presence nationally. Both firms highlight shared values of integrity and excellence, with a joint vision for Canadian expansion.
