Vooban acquires Stratéjia

Vooban, a leader in artificial intelligence in Quebec, successfully acquired Stratéjia, a prominent Business Intelligence company. The merger, highlighting over a decade of experience from both firms, aims to bolster digital transformation support across various sectors. Vooban's CEO, Kevin Moore, emphasized the acquisition's role in enhancing their data management and analysis capabilities, crucial for AI project implementation. This move also marks a significant stride in Vooban's expansion plans, following a CDPQ investment in September 2023.

The transaction notably increased Vooban's workforce by nearly 50%, growing from 130 to 190 employees. Hugues Foltz, Executive Vice President of Vooban, highlighted the acquisition's importance in enriching digital transformation services and strengthening the team for expansion into the Ontario market.

Stratégia's CEO, Jean-Sébastien Darveau, viewed the alliance as a growth opportunity, enabling large-scale project involvement and AI project advancements for their talented staff. Concurrently with the acquisition, Vooban introduced a new subsidiary, Endorphine, focusing on online management and reservation solutions for outdoor events, previously under Stratéjia. Endorphine is already implemented in over 115 stations in Quebec, indicating its significance in the outdoor industry.
