Fielding Environmental, based in Mississauga, Ontario, specializes in liquid waste and gas processing, recycling, and disposal, offering Cradle to Cradle® waste management solutions. This positions Fielding as a unique provider of closed-loop environmental services, catering to various sectors including environmental, chemical, and manufacturing industries.

GFL Environmental, headquartered in Vaughan, Ontario, offers a wide range of services including solid waste management, liquid waste management, and soil remediation across Canada and the United States. The acquisition of Fielding is expected to enhance GFL's service offerings, particularly in specialized processing capabilities and hazardous waste management, supported by Fielding's Part B permit. Additionally, Fielding’s strategic location in the Toronto area is anticipated to drive GFL's growth and enable opportunities for internalization and organic cross-selling within its Environmental Services network.
