Melissa Miller

Melissa Miller is a dedicated advocate for the elderly, specializing in Elder Law. She focuses on nursing home negligence, long-term care, and elder abuse cases. She also handles personal injury cases and is an experienced trial lawyer. She has served on the Board of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, and founded Canadians4LTC and Lawyers4LTC to advocate for systemic change in long-term care across Canada. Melissa testified before the Justice Committee at the House of Commons on proposed changes to the Criminal Code in relation to elder abuse and neglect.  She is also featured in the National Film Board of Canada documentary, "Stolen Time," which highlights systemic issues in long-term care in Canada.
