Global litigation management technology company Legal Ready has acquired UK-based advanced case preparation and bundling software provider HyperLaw.

With the acquisition, HyperLaw’s bundling capabilities will be integrated into the artificial intelligence-powered Litigation Ready platform. The resulting solution, which addresses issues throughout the litigation lifecycle, has been tailored to UK barristers, law firms, and government legal departments.

Users can use AI-enabled tools to navigate complex court materials and facilitate cross-team collaboration. Court-ready bundles can be created through bundling technology.

The PDFUnbundler tool distills PDF bundles into separate documents for analysis. Lawyers can streamline argument preparation and presentation through a centralized intelligent platform.

“The acquisition of HyperLaw is a game-changer for the UK market. By incorporating HyperLaw’s brilliant bundling tech into our AI-powered litigation management suite, we are providing a toolkit to UK lawyers that is unmatched. Our goal is to ensure that all disputes’ practitioners have the most effective, secure, and collaborative environment possible to prepare their matters, all while maintaining a 'people-first', human-in-the-loop approach to technology,” said Tony Kinnear, Legal Ready’s chief executive officer, in a statement.

HyperLaw managing director Mike Washburn added that a bundle-centric mindset had limited efficient and strategic litigation management in the UK.

“Document bundling is an important feature, but not a complete solution. Joining forces with Legal Ready allows us to accelerate our mission of transforming case preparation. Our combined platform delivers a level of integration that the UK legal market hasn't seen—blending advanced automation and collaboration with the security and transparency that our clients need to uphold the highest standards,” Washburn said.

Legal Ready offers AI-powered litigation and disclosure management software. Its market presence extends across the US, Singapore, and Australia.

In addition to Litigation Ready and PDFUnbundler, Legal Ready’s products include eBrief Ready and Disclosure Ready. Earlier this year, the company announced its integration with legaltech company Clio.
